A village almost cut off from the world!!
In the north of the Sultanate of Oman is a small village called Kamzar. It is located in the province of Musandam and is located on the Strait of Hormuz. It has the ocean in front and the mountains behind, and is only accessible by sea or by helicopter. It is located in the province of Musandam and has a population of about 2000 people. There is a special language called "Kamzaria" which is spoken only by the villagers. It is the only non-Semitic language in the Arabian Peninsula. The Kamzaria language is considered rare in the region and is the primary language spoken but not written for the local people. Many consider Kamzaria to be a collection of different languages, the most important of which are Persian, Hindi, Arabic and English.
