I’m finally feeling better after my earlier low this week, and I’m beginning to accept that my next job probably won’t involve #PHP.
Before you tell me how good other languages or communities are, understand that I considered my interactions with the PHP as a second, unpaid role, which I thoroughly enjoyed in an entrepreneurial sort of way. That’s why this is so difficult for me.
I would love to find an employer who sees value in that side of me, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.
