Watching Americans talk about joy and inclusivity off only vibes is frightening. Did anyone actually listen to the words in Kamala Harris’ speech where she blamed immigrants for guns, swore to strengthen the borders against refugees and proclaimed not a strong military but a lethal military while lying about America’s efforts for a ceasefire? It let all the excitement out of Canadians I have spoken to. While she is better than Trump, no one is excited for her vision of America.
