So far, Trump's Cabinet nominees are largely on par with his nomination of Lori Chavez-DeRemer as Labor Sec'y. She served one term in the House and a few years as mayor of a small town in Oregon. What she knows about unions and labor would fit on the head of a pin.
That says everything about how seriously she would advocate for labor, rather than tear the dept to pieces through neglect. Otherwise, Trump has eight or so billionaire nominees. Their interest is their wealth, not their depts.
