I've redone the strings, now it looks tidier and feels stronger. I started with the E1 string, leaving a good extra measure, to avoid using the string that was already twisted to avoid it snapping in there, and keeping all the remaining string under the thicker strings in order (B2, G3, D4, A5, E6). Still looks like a rack of ethernet routers, but it's a bit better I guess. I could tune the guitar in the first try and it looks like it's holding. I'll retune later, when the strings have settled a bit.
