-Central Bank Digital Currencies/World Currencies-
1. Czech Central Bank Governor to Present Plan to Add Bitcoin to Its Reserve: Czech National Bank Governor Ales Michl said in an interview with Financial Times that he will present a bitcoin investment plan to the board on Thursday, which, if approved, could see the apex bank diversify 5% of its $146.13 billion reserves into the leading cryptocurrency by market value. (CoinDesk)

2. South Dakota's Representative to Introduce Bitcoin Reserve Bill to House: South Dakota is considering a bill to include Bitcoin in its financial reserves, following other states like Texas, Florida, and Pennsylvania. (Decrypt)

The M2 money supply has clocked in a new monthly high every month since January 2024. The M2 money supply influences CPI by affecting inflation trends. While the Federal Reserve is actively tightening through quantitative easing and keeping the Fed funds rate at an elevated level while trying to bring CPI back down to its 2% inflation target, the M2 money supply continues to grow. (CoinDesk)

-Bitcoin Community-
1. Preston Pysh Explains Why SAB 121 Beats a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve: Bitcoin custody is now treated as an asset, not a liability, dramatically lowering barriers for major banks like JPMorgan and others to enter the Bitcoin ecosystem. As Pysh notes, “All the major banking institutions are now wanting to take this on. There could be loan products, all sorts of things that can pop out of this.” Reserves can be subject to the priorities of the administration in power. A pro-Bitcoin government might amass reserves, only for a subsequent administration to reverse course. In contrast, institutional adoption driven by the rescission of SAB 121 creates a systemic entrenchment. Large-scale integration by private banks and financial institutions is harder to unwind and more likely to persist across political cycles. -Bitcoin Sentiment-
1. Fear(0)/Greed(100) Index: 72/100 (Even)

Analyst Comments (AC): If there was any doubt to the seriousness of the new Trump administration, this week's actions prove the intent: to crush the deep state. From directly nullifying Gen. Milley to telling millions of government workers to resign, Trump is not wasting time. These are unprecedented moves for a presidential administration and certain to cause legal and cultural blowback. We can at the least expect protests soon, as millions of disaffected progressives look to bite back. More serious responses are probable though.
