I feel like local-first is the biggest thing that can give native apps an edge over websites. Looking at
https://apps.gnome.org/ the situation already looks pretty good. It's a bummer that Wike requires internet to browse Wikipedia. On the other side Warp transparently uses the local network if possible to send files.
