I for one am happy to see the base iPad not get the mandatory Apple intelligence update that pushes its price up. I’ve bought 5 in the last year. They’re great, do everything they need to and are a great value.

And I also love seeing the specs in other products bumped each year. Much better than continuing to sell outdated chips just because there’s no new features or cameras to ship.
