Governments around the world are making attempts to put borders on the Internet, and America is the latest to implement such policies.

Banning social media sites encourages the average social media user to actively look for alternatives, look into softwares on how to by-pass bans, and become more aware/concerned about government overreach.

These social media bans will not only fail long-term, it might actually spark a revival of decentralizing the Internet and a return to an Internet resembling the early Internet.
