You can now use nano.to to verify your Nostr address!
https://nano.to/
nano.to is a service that is used to link a username to a nano address and to other assets (such as your website, socials, and github). Through this site you can also set funding goals and receive donations, and even sell items (but I haven't used that functionality myself).
Yesterday the developer did me the favor of including a field to be able to validate a Nostr address!
So, if you already have a nano.to username, or would like to create one, you can now fill-in the "nostr_public_key" entry with your nostr public key in HEX format, and then add username@nano.to to your nip05 address in your nostr profile settings.
What adding your nostr_public_key does is that it will append your nano.to username and nostr key to a public list that can be found here: https://nano.to/.well-known/nostr.json
This information is publicly available, and it can be used for members of the Nano community to easily find each other in Nostr. However, make sure that this does not conflict with any of your privacy-related goals.
