So I learned about PC ports of N64 games using a process called "recompilation." For the most part, emulating at 1080p - 4k gives you most of what the ports do, but there are extra goodies.
For one thing, these games can be brought up to 60 fps in the ports. You can add ray tracing and camera controls using a stick.
