The real lesson is that most people, GenZ included, will fall for a story that's told in just the right way. It's fun to think about how good you would be in a fictional situation that will never happen, especially if you're led to believe that you never need to worry about how you would respond in any number of real world scenarios which, however unlikely they seem, really COULD happen.
