preserve me (a psalm)

o jerusalem
why art thou cast down?
let not man prevail
i pour out my soul
in my blood, when i go down
and cause thy face to shine
above all gods
i am thine, save me
the lord taketh pleasure
come upon us

as the mountains are round
thou hast afflicted us
how long wilt thou hide thy face?
i have not refrained my lips
lift up your heads
they have devoured jacob
in the secret of his tabernacle
the sea overwhelmed their enemies
thy judgments are a great deep
far from the wicked

add iniquity unto their iniquity
the heavens shall laugh
