Yeah Mark Goodwin and Whitney Webb talk about this a lot within the last 6 months about creating dollar demand through stablecoins and you can see in the Lummis - Gilibrand bill saying algorithmic stablecoins would be illegal.
Can’t use DLC’s or stable Lightning channels to do this. You would need to go through a regulate stablecoins provider which has to buy treasuries and then keep dollar reserves if bitcoin goes up in value because they would treat bitcoin as a liability not an asset.
