My assumption on replaceables is that deletes only delete everything before the delete timestamp, and anything with that 'd' tag and a newer timestamp should still be valid. Otherwise that 'd' tag is toast forever. But I'm not sure the NIPs are clear on this point, it is just my assumption, and you can do it differently.
