‘The Dutch Tax Office has extensively retrieved personal data of taxpayers - including social media posts - from the internet, stored it in a computer system and used it in its monitoring and anti-fraud activities. This was done despite internal doubts about the legality of this and the "origin, accuracy and timeliness" of the stored data.’
