npub1v0z00hhlv3xfm44jjdstz485xhm7vn6mljjnap6yn2lqcczvqm3sqn5v8h (npub1v0z…5v8h) I’ve found it to be very variable, and a lot depends on topic. My math and science professor friends tell me those pages are accurate and valuable. But for early medieval England, it can be wildly problematic. One of the reasons: the guys, mostly, who write and edit wikipedia, trust science and scientists. But they don’t respect scholarship or scholars in the humanities, and they consider any wacko’s blog to be an authority equal to peer-reviewed scholarship.

So again, my question: anyone have a better source, or sources, for a round-up of this material? I checked the wikipedia page against some of news reports and found it jibed, but I did not fact-check the whole page, not did I pore over the sources.

Thanks.
