In German it's "Rundflug" implying that start and stop are at the same place. The other potential translation was "sightseeing flight" which didn't seem to fit.
One of those "pleasure flights" was also less pleasuring as the pilot asked if he should do a looping and I unfortunately said yes. I threw up. Both those flights happened when I was child, i.e. in the 80s.
