Went with my parents #today to their attorney, as they want me (only child) to be aware of all processes in place when they pass & I inherit.

Not things I particularly enjoy pondering, but these conversations are necessary. As a family, we've had too many situations over the past few years in which the deceased didn't make adequate plans or inform heirs of the plans, leading to all sorts of unpleasantness.

So...and I'm reminding myself as well...get & keep your affairs in order, y'all.
