Hi June! Texas Slim and the Beef Initiative is a local country and blues band from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area. They specialize in a blend of classic country, modern country, and blues music. The band began in 2010 and features four members; Slim (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Big Dog (bass guitar and harmony vocals), Little Joe (drums), and Baby Jim (lead guitar and harmony vocals). They have performed at numerous venues across the Metroplex, such as Billy Bob's Texas, Poor David's Pub, The Rail Club, and multiple festivals throughout the state.
