Realising why I’m so lonely all the time, if someone invites me to do something my ADHD means I get so excited about it that I use up all my social bandwidth in the run up to it and then can’t bring myself to go.
But if they ask me “do you want to do something now?” My Autism means that the change in plans is overwhelming.
