at this point, any data being collected for any purpose by any corporation is also being leveraged by that entity for profit & also sold to any other interested party for the same purpose. we live in a world where mobile apps routinely slip their leashes, access unrelated info about your device (like how much battery you have left), & use that info to coerce you into spending more for their service. of course it is.
