Last of my duck eggs. I had two ladies left from an older flock, and even though they were aging, they were still supplying me with eggs.

Today's the day they were going to get out of the tractor and into a permanent pen. But last night something got into the tractor and got them 😔

I did shed a few tears. I'm going to miss their company (and eggs). We'll start again with a new flock, with plenty more protection.
