And those that do remember are too scared to admit it. A news organization showed this photo, without context, to a number of Chinese people - in China. The young people didn't have a clue what it was, but the older people berated the person showing it to them, "how dare you!" with terror in their eyes.

Yeah.

Not the smartest thing for a news organization to do, but it certainly drove home the point.
