the universe is digital. atoms are not analog. early digital was bad, and consumer level digital is still bad and will always be bad because people have no taste and capitalism BY LAW delivers lowest quality that consumers accept, which is always too low.
but there is nothing wrong with digital itself. i will take 32 bit float 96 khz over analog any day.
