Getting older is a surprise sometimes. My two oldest, closest friends are getting increasingly irritable. One snipped at me after I spent 3 hours driving and an entire day taking her to cataract surgery. My second time doing it. The other has scolded me a few times and shared that she nearly lost a friend for loudly scolding her for arriving to her house early. I thought old people mellowed. Not a fan of walking on eggshells.
