My garden is doing great, considering I couldn't plant it until the end of May. So far, I've battled voles and flea beetles. I smoke bombed the voles and dusted the beetles. I'm all kinds of organic until it's time to kill those little bastards, then organic gardening goes out the window. My onion patch is coming up, but I have to net it off before the birds I call, "Asshole birds" come along and pull them up and leave them laying on the ground. They only do that with onions and garlic.
We harvested our cherry tree this past week. Wife made the best cherry pie I've ever eaten and we put up 26 cups of pitted cherries in the freezer. I even have peaches on my peach tree for the first time and plums on the plum tree I planted 20 years ago for the first time. My apple trees are laden, but a hail storm the other day thinned them out. I'm hoping we don't get any more hail storms like that, or it will wipe out everything. I'm at almost 7,000 ft. My growing season is just slightly longer than yours by maybe a day or two.
