I think it is inconsiderate to not either hashtag or cw your commentary on the US elections.

The US elections matter to a lot of people who are not in the US, including a lot of people who are our friends.

But there's a difference between here-and-there-now-and-then and deluge.

There's a context-insensitivity going on here, and to be straight up, it is *exactly* what Americans are universally known for.
