Drove #LoveOfMyLife to the airport, put her in the airplane and sent her off to Ankara (via Istanbul). She'll arrive some time around 3am local time.
Then drove back home, prepared dinner (spaghetti nº 3 with some homemade tomato sauce + nice salad), visited MIL and gave her her meds, fed Batman and Mimi aka CatWoman (our two cats) and am now, finally, on the sofa trying to wind down.
But I am completely wasted. Tomorrow I am gonna visit my client and talk with him about my ideas for the future, working together, the product and the development, especially since the way the dev is now going ain't gonna work out.
Imagine my day: deployed production, prepared staging, fixed a lot of issues, then deployed staging, then reviewed a couple of merge requests that were lying around for a week, from one of our very junior engineers, being ignored by the others, gave a lot of feedback; fixed tons of UI issues, explained to one of the "senior" devs how to use icons "right" in a vue3/vuetify-project; sent out a Testflight-version (after finally winning the battle against Xcode 16.0) of oour mobile app for internal testing; continued trying to figure out a super-complex, super-edge-case-y-but-critical-bug; booked a nice flight for my wife; drove her to the airport ... ugh...
I think, I might actually have an idea why I am so wasted...
