You don't see paying with your phone (or other wearable) becoming the prevailing method of payment over square pieces of plastic in 10 years?
Cards can be insecure:
- always ready to pay so people can bump your pocket with an NFC reader to steal your money
- name, card number, security code is visible on majority of cards so a quick photograph of the card is as good as having it in hand
- it's physicality means it can be lost or stolen (whereas a phone typically has a passcode/biometric lock)
Those are my thoughts at least. I personally prefer Tap to Pay with my phone over reaching for my wallet.
