There needs to be a ceasefire now. But That ceasefire needs teeth: there need to be peacekeepers, on the ground, ensuring that Hamas doesn't dig more tunnels or fire more rockets, and Israel (Netanyahu particularly) doesn't allow/encourage settlers to conduct more provocations. Without that, a ceasefire will just be a pause, until the next atrocity.
