it turns out you can can control your #meshtastic #android app from a Linux machine. For #NixOS
0) connect phone via USB to Linux machine
1) install scrcpy using the configuration.nix
2) icons shown on the desktop
3) clicking scrcpy icon on desktop does not open any app
4) enable developer mode on phone as shown here

6) click the icon "scrpy (console)"
