I got a bottle of Diamine Quartz Black, and was disappointed to find it dried very quickly on the nib and made even 10-15 seconds on a fine nib too long before it would start skipping or hard starting.
I wound up taking 6 ml of the ink and adding 2 ml water. The color looks the same, and the ink flows a lot better.
