Well, everyone is in a different situation regarding this.
Personally, I don't care about losing my handle/username on platforms I have no intention to ever go back to (or start an account in). People who know me, and follow me here, know that I'm not there. It is also very important for me ethically to not give any data, any number, any participation to these platforms.
That being said, I can see this being a potential problem for some celebrities, which I am not haha 😅
