Somehow she knew I was home and would always be there waiting for me. She’d have her little freak outs where she’d streak through the apartment. We’d hold long conversations because she had the most broad range of cat verbalizations I’d ever heard and would always respond after my comment. In the mornings, I sit at the computer with my coffee, she’d climb up, and I’d close my robe around her. 😢
