Terry Hendrix II 🏹 (npub17wr…prsu) AMD is no longer in the position it was back in 2018/19 when the current generation was being designed, they will have many more products and IP blocks to put into semi-custom designs for potential corporate customers.
Considering that consoles are basically really powerful APU SBC with special sauce, that bodes well for potential competition in that space.
Also, in the event of a division sell-off, I wager they'd put the entire branding in the pile, and therefore there *would* continue to exist an Xbox of some description.
