How is it that socialism is a dirty word because of the (admittedly fucked up) USSR and its derivatives when capitalism, an ideology that has killed more people and enslaved more people, is championed as the pillar of modern civilization? If you held capitalism to the same standard that socialism (including Leninism) is held to, then you would find that capitalism is far far worse on every metric.
