Nostr Client Notes

Multi-profile Active Session:
This allows a client to recognize a multi-profile session authorized and governed by a single NSEC and consists of the NPUB and one or a vast number of MPUBs—NPUBS generated from the same NSEC

Allows Persona Interaction:
I talk about Bitcoin, tech stuff, guns, cars, golf, a nice stogie on a spring afternoon. But the people I engage with don’t engage with me because they like who I am. They follow because of the intersection of interests, not the whole. They like golf too. Or guns too. Or cigars. Or Bitcoin. If I enjoy talking Bitcoin with 19 different hippies, half of them may not want my most recent AR-15 build to pop up in their feed. This would lead to potential disconnection just because they want to manage their feed. So I post the gun stuff in a separate persona than my Bitcoin dialogues. It’s a unique MPUB (a Multi-NPUB) that was generated from my NSEC and is signed from within my profile session. It allows anonymous posts, or public posts connected to my main NPUB but allowing a separate follow and feed mechanism for dividing my interests without dividing my user experience.

Allows Anonymized Interactions:
I sign into my client. I find a note that I approve of privately but am not inclined to interact with publicly. After all, we value our privacy and freedom to transact socially and monetarily without public scrutiny if we so choose. I can tell the client in settings or in the post UI to Like or Zap the note privately. The client can spin up a burner MPUB and use it to like/zap the comment and then burn the MPUB or stash it for further interactions depending on the ideal handling of it.
