#PennedPossibilities 503 — Do any of your characters know how to cook well?

The current crop of characters, not so much. The devil-girl can throw together a mean green salad, or leftover vege, butter, and wine to make pasta primavera—to save from eating cereal with the roommate. She recognizes good food, but never was tutored in cooking it. She's hit and miss.

I wrote a shaman decades ago, who during the years she lost her spirit connection apparently learned to cook like a fiend. There's a scene where she's waiting to see if she's won a parliamentary election (which ends up with her becoming prime minister) where she's cooking a half-dozen dishes for her friends, including something like goat birria and everybody's salivating. I remember going into a lot of detail, but I'm not up to looking it up right now...
