The problem is that the use of they/them as a neutral pronoun in recent years is fucking atrocious and needs to fucking die along with the people who force it in modern english.
BA and NIKKE's script often gets confusing as hell because you have no idea if a character is referring to you specifically or the group you are with.
Last i heard the dude already suggested to hack a selector in the game how Ion addresses the player as an alternative. Maybe he's working on this now.
