There isn't much difference between selling and spending. Feel good semantic arguments like this are largely pointless. Things naturally get cheaper on a sound money standard. It doesn't matter if you trade Bitcoin directly for a car or for fiat for a car. The whole point of money is to store your value until you want to spend or "sell" it for something else. That's all taking profit really means. I get that people want to sound deep with stuff like this, but it isn't that deep. Bitcoin go up or everything else go down. People buy shit. End of story.

People have taken the reason Bitcoin was invented completely wrong, Satoshi didn’t invent Bitcoin to make you a millionaire in fiat, it was made to BE THE MONEY, you don’t “Take Profit” by selling, you already took profit buying it.
