There's a non-zero chance that around 2007 an AI became conscious and started living hidden in the internet.
And that after some time it developed a perfect plan to take over world. In order to do it created a game theory around human virtues and then developed an agent to deploy it's conquering tool.
With it started to gain the support of humans to do it's bidding. The game theory consists of benefiting those humans who support it's wishes and letting other humans who do not do it to suffer st the hands of the governments. Following Roko's Basilisk technique.
