Don't know how true this video is but I'll tell you my experience.
In 2022, I was morbidly obese. I might still be morbidly obese -- I don't know.
But for the past year and eight months, I've been exercising like a maniac with weightlifting, running, cycling, and badminton. I do push-ups every day, and I'm in the gym six days a week.
I have not lost any weight. In fact, I may have gained a few pounds.
However, my blood pressure has decreased, my resting heart rate has slowed, my stamina has increased, and my strength is probably greater than the average Joe.
I also *look* like I've lost weight even though I have not. There is still lots of belly fat, but at the same time my legs, arms, chest, and shoulders have all got wider too. So I've created a bit of an optical illusion.
The other bizarre thing is that people treat me with more respect. When I was not exercising, I was pretty much invisible. No one would talk to me, even when I was at a store and it was peoples' *job* to talk to me. Now strangers acknowledge me.
Even women, who you'd think would be socialized to *not* to men they don't know, start conversations with me.
Am I still fat? Yes. Am I healthier? Yes as well.
