What we're seeing is also Trump refusing to work for something - as usual. When he thought it would be a greased slide to theocratic fascism, with the Heritage Foundation doing all the heavy lifting, he was all for it. He even posed for his own "iconic" Iwo Jima shot. But nobody cared.
