We appreciate everybody's patience over the last couple days regarding the spam wave the Fediverse has been experiencing. Positively, none of the spam has originated from Fosstodon. Negatively, that means we have very little ability to block it beyond suspending the accounts when they appear and notifying remote admins. Many instances have been very proactive, and we thank them for that. Also, thank you for all the reports you've been sending. They let both us and remote admins act more quickly.
