i'm obviously not cheering for my own destruction but i'm inclined by my nature to look at these things historically and dispassionately, so i can't be mad either. the matrilineal descent always bugged me because i respect strong men and their achievements, and believe any healthy civilization must be founded upon that respect

that said, while the descent is matrilineal the upkeep of religious traditions, scholarship, etc is essentially male only and like all traditional monotheistic religions women are barred from the clergy and other forms of leadership. it's still like that in orthodoxy but the more "modern" branches have obviously gone full retard
