if you went out to dinner with your spouse and they revealed they didn't love you and wanted a divorce, you wouldn't say things like "I'm not letting one bad dinner ruin this marriage."

That would be a delusional thing to say because it wasn't the fuckin chicken piccata, it was what happened during the dinner.
