Let this sink in: Nvidia is valued more highly than a major oil company. Nvidia at this point is a company that primarily exists because we've adopted massively wasteful ways of doing things that we often don't need to do or arguably shouldn't even be doing, like training/running LLMs or doing crypto. I'm trying to figure out how to think about that.
