Which reminds me that I have a mirror of IETF RFCs (with plain text, html, pdf), offline copies of most open-standards. Yet French and EU laws? Eeeh, best I managed to dig is France having somekind of delta tarballs with XML I couldn't find documentation for.
So I could even say that governments and other institutions themselves do the same evil compliance that most corporations do.
