The mods act awful most of the time, and the users have a superiority complex over all other platforms (that doesn't even make sense unlike with the 4/8chan users since Reddit is also part of big-tech). Plus, they have a system of upvotes and karma that promotes their gross behavior. It's not much better than the personalized algorithms of Tiktok and Instagram. 4chan and 8chan can get away with the fact that it's solely the users fault for the toxicity that happens there.
